Shipping Policy Guidance

Important Note for Platform Users (Sellers)

Trendrop.ai is a platform connecting suppliers and distributors (sellers). We do not directly handle product inventory or shipping ourselves. Shipping is managed by the individual suppliers whose products you source through our platform. Therefore, shipping times, costs, methods, and warehouse locations will vary depending on the specific supplier and product. The following information provides general guidelines that sellers using Trendrop should consider when creating their own shipping policies for their end customers. Sellers are responsible for clearly communicating shipping details based on the information provided by their chosen suppliers.

General Guidelines for Shipping

Order Processing Time

  • Suppliers on the Trendrop platform generally aim to ship orders as quickly as possible. Processing times can vary, but many suppliers ship orders within 1-4 business days if items are in stock.
  • If an item is out of stock or requires longer processing, delays (e.g., up to a week or more) may occur. Suppliers usually indicate estimated processing times.
  • During peak seasons (e.g., holidays, major sales events, new product releases), sellers should anticipate potential additional processing delays from suppliers and inform their customers accordingly.

Domestic and International Shipping

  • Many suppliers on the platform offer shipping to a wide range of domestic and international addresses. However, capabilities vary by supplier.
  • Sellers must verify the specific shipping destinations supported by the supplier for each product they intend to sell.
  • Note that restrictions may apply to certain products, and some items may not be shippable to specific international destinations due to regulations or supplier limitations.

Shipping Times & Warehouses

  • Suppliers on Trendrop utilize warehouses in various locations. A significant number of suppliers have warehouses located in the United States.
  • Shipping time depends heavily on the supplier's warehouse location, the shipping method used, and the final destination address.
  • Example: For orders shipped from a supplier's US-based warehouse to a domestic US address, delivery typically takes approximately 3-5 business days after processing. However, this is an estimate and can vary.
  • Sellers should always refer to the specific supplier's information for the most accurate shipping time estimates for each product and destination.

Tracking Information

  • Once a supplier ships an order, they typically provide tracking information, which will be updated in the Trendrop platform for the seller to access and share with their end customer.
  • Please Note: Once a package is handed over to the shipping carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx, DHL), neither Trendrop nor often the supplier can control the exact delivery path or speed. The tracking number is the best tool to monitor progress.

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are determined by the supplier and depend on factors like package weight, dimensions, shipping method, and destination.
  • Sellers need to factor these supplier shipping costs into their pricing strategy or clearly state the shipping fees to their end customers during checkout.
